The other day I was wondering through Target when I saw all the cute spring tea towels. I don’t know what it is about tea towels, but they really bring a kitchen together.
They’re functional.
Easy to change with the seasons.
And a great way to add a pop of color.
So I tried my hand at making a couple this past weekend!
It’s always fun to add your own spin to a classic.
And bonus – it’s a super quick DIY!

Tea Towels
I used this set of 12 tea towels and this transfer paper.
They worked great! The transfer adhered well and is very bright.
The step-by-step:
- Print image onto transfer paper per the manufacturer’s instructions
- Cut image out as close to the borders as possible
- Transfer onto towels per the manufacturer’s instructions
That’s it! Done and done.

I transferred the labels and images separately.
It was easier to cut them close to the border that way.
The transfer paper will leave a white residue wherever it transfers outside the image, so really take the time to cut close to the image … it’s worth it … I speak from experience!
Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

Amazon. I shared the link above. I was really happy with the pack - good quality and the images transferred nicely. Hope that helps :)
